Forge Your Own Path

Psychotherapy & Coaching for passionate people who travel unconventional terrain

I’m a psychotherapist and coach in St. Louis, where I work with activists, artists, entrepreneurs, and people living many different types of unconventional lives.

Yellow brick road in a foggy forrest, representing forging one's own path

Maybe you’re living a different story because something about you has always been unusual.

Maybe you planned to travel a well known path, but something happened, and you can’t just go back to the way things were.

You want to talk to someone comfortable with unconventional terrain…

…someone who doesn’t insist that returning to the paved road is the answer but joins with you in the difficult work of mapping out new territory together.

I help passionate people serve their big visions without burning out. Reach out to see how I can help you.

Hand holding a compass representing life transitions and finding one's way

Sometimes we come to points in our lives where the stories we’ve been living—about who we are and how our lives are supposed to unfold—no longer fit.

Burnout, or the physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress, is an issue many people face in their day-to-day lives. Learn strategies to help.

My job is to explore with you and ask good questions.

I don’t promise quick fixes, simple answers, or five steps to a known outcome.

I see people as separate from problems; YOU are not the problem. I’m more interested in the full and complex picture of your experience in the world than in labeling or diagnosing.

I make a practice of questioning everything, and of reorienting myself regularly to what is most important. I’m adept at making space for difference, and I excel at supporting clients who want to move in unconventional directions.
